Logo Design & Sizing Standards

This document establishes the sizing standards and dimensions for deploying tupynambalucas.dev brand logos across digital applications, social profiles, print media, and software suites. To ensure our logos maintain perfect fidelity, developers and designers must adhere to the standard dimensions listed below.

For local monorepo development details, refer to the Studio & Creative Assets documentation.

1. Overview of Sizing Constants

Choosing the correct logo dimensions prevents pixelation, maintains brand readability, and ensures that visual assets scale perfectly across various screen types and print media.

  • Screen Resolution Standard: 72 DPI (dots per inch) is standard for web and digital displays.
  • Print Resolution Standard: 300 DPI is required for clean, crisp reproduction on physical items.
  • Vector Formats (SVG): Highly recommended for digital interfaces because they scale dynamically and compile as dynamic React components.
  • Raster Formats (PNG): Preferred for digital platforms requiring transparency (such as website headers or social media profile icons).

2. Standard Print Sizing

When exporting logos for printing, vector formats should be used to prevent loss of detail. Below are the recommended dimensions and DPI requirements:

Collateral / Use CaseRecommended Dimensions (inches)DPI TargetLayout & Placement Notes
Business Cards1.5″ × 1.5″300 DPITypically square; positioned top-left or centered.
Letterhead2″ × 2″ or smaller300 DPISubtle scaling (A4 size: 210mm x 297mm).
Brochures & Flyers2.0″ to 3.0″ wide300 DPIScales depending on the overall layout.

Additional Print Context

  • Business Cards (Overall Card Size): 3.5 in x 2.0 in (the logo itself is typically 0.75 in x 0.75 in).
  • Mugs (11 oz Standard): 7.5 in x 3.0 in.
  • Hats: 3.0 in to 3.5 in wide.
  • Tote Bags: 14.0 in x 16.0 in.
  • T-Shirt Placements: Adult chest (3.5 in x 3.5 in), child chest (3.3 in x 3.3 in), maximum print area (14.0 in x 15.0 in), and pocket logos (4.25 in x 5.25 in).
  • Envelopes (Standard/C4): 22.9 cm x 32.4 cm (C4 size) or 4.125 in x 9.5 in.

3. Web and Digital Sizing

For digital channels, keep file sizes minimized (for example, below 30 KB for email signatures) to reduce page load time.
